Just remember, a computer will not let you do what you can't do. Know this. Trust yourself. You'll get it, as you always do. xo Two cheek kisses from Calgary.
I am deeply grateful for your boosting note. I am trying to work on the baby new one now. The keyboard is friendlier than the old one. But I dare not go looking for anything obscure. For the moment I will tread water and hand on to the side.
So many friends have purchased Macs lately, and they' re like zealous converts. I've long resisted the learning curve and the additional expense of new ASTRO software for a new Mac. I might give in and join the crowd this time, though. Discouraged after Microsoft 365 crashed, eating all my docs, I'd like to try working without all those Error messages. We shall see.
You have triumphed over so many more difficult obstacles. Don't give up. You don't need to learn all the fancy 'terms' - just basic sequences of actions: how to create, store and retrieve documents; how to access the internet; how to keep your info safe online. That's 99% of it. It's doable. You can do it xxx
Hi Al, That's already a lot. I have been writing books on computers since 1986. It should be easy. Yep. But progress has outrun me. I wish you lived next door. I would dash over and ask how to do thus and such. But at this distance alone in a hospital room, I don't feel very confident. I'll keep you posted. Smooches, Suzanne

Exactly I don’t like change.
Thanks Bonni. I keep trying to be patient and learn as I go. But I usually surrender to reading a book

Resourcefulness will strike at the right moment. Support may yet appear in a form unexpected. By all means keep me in the loop x
